Beth’s “Totems” are visual messengers telling a story of form, color and surface. The clay surfaces are a combination of glazed and unglazed pieces. The final smoke-firing process creates unpredictable and mysterious surfaces. Time and weather influence the patina of the rich red earthenware clay, continuing the story to be told.
